Keswick Weather Webcam used by RAF

The KCS webcam overlooks the impressive Skiddaw Fell in Keswick and we were surprised to learn that it is used by the RAF to check the weather in Keswick prior to low-level flight training practice through the Northern Fells.

Our webcam is positioned to look out of the window in of our webs department (where Our web designers and web developers work from, not a department full of spider webs in case you were confused). Today through that window we heard, saw and felt a number of RAF and USAF military aircraft fly overhead in quick succession – no surprises really because the weather today in Keswick is stunning!
